Partayyy!

So we're less than 100 page views away from 1000 page views! :-o
This calls for a party. At least a virtual one.
And you're all invited! :D

Now, it must feel like we're all at the same party.
Because it is a gathering in cyberspace, we thought we'd ensure everyone's looking at the same food and dancing people!
So, i give you the following.

Cupcakes are involved, obviously.

Imagine that we're also eating hash browns, 'cos they're awesome.

Let's all virtually sip on soda in some nice happy colours.

And to look at the person of your choice dancing in festive cheer, click on link below :)

Season's greetings, everyone!
Thanks for all the lou <3

The video was found by Manasvini :)

SOUL SANTHE-11/11

It was quite unfortunate that Manasvini couldn't make it to Soul Santhe today. *sigh*
But the Kingfisher event was buzzing with colourful people, amazing stalls and foot tapping music as always!

I met quite a few people from my own class this time...
It felt like i was back at the SAME Soul Santhe, every stall was

Polite Ninjas.

Kiran Chandramouli is a boy.
  • I don't remember how i know him.
    He can be quite funny.
He really knows his ice-cream, as you can see.
Here is an insight into his brilliant mind.

1.How ripe do you like your banana?

    Nice and yellow ripe.

    2.Why are you?

    14

So.

So i'm sitting at home, all bummed out that i couldn't make it to Palace Grounds today.
Y'all have fun without me :(

Anyhoo.
I decided to interview random people from my Facebook friends list, for no particular reason.
I decided to start with the following interviewee, for no particular reason.
That's all.

Idea clouds-flash mobs

With inspiration from Mumbai, wouldn't it be amazing if we were able to arrange for a flash mob in Bangalore? Any ideas people? As you all know the slutwalk which was to be done in front of city hall got cancelled along with its precursor, the freeze mob. Maybe we can try to get the required permissions? Pool in any ideas you got and we'll try to make it happen!

CST Flash Mob

I'm sure everyone is aware of the very first flash mob that was conducted in CST Mumbai.
*SIGH* flash mobs just make me tear up EVERY TIME....esp. when the camera zooms in on all the happy laughing, dancing, random people...makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.
This being the first time in India, should be given lots of credit for the amazing coordination!
CST decided to blare its speakers with the song "Rang de Basanti" on a Sunday afternoon and several Mumbaikars suddenly started to gather out of nowhere and danced to it.

It was like straight out of a Hindi movie where everyone suddenly breaks out into a coordinated dance routine.
I also noticed that one of my very own friends was in it! K.S Uthayya, too cool man!
Made me proud to be Indian :)

Rastafarianism

Last post? Or so she THOUGHT.
HEH.
Remember how i said that a review of avery interesting shop would be coming up?
Today's the day! YAY! =)
So the shop we went to was PSYBABA'S (love the way people

Last for the day.

Bought(?) the free app on iTunes.
Not sure where i found it.
Loads fastly :P That's a plus.
Graphics are not ah-mazing, but nothing to complain about (but i'm not the expert).
Monkeys could have been less annoying.
And the man really needs to SLOW DOWN sometimes.
Quite addictive though. Very i-wanna-get-a-new-high-score.

Quickie #2

Ninth novel in the Cat Who series of murder mystery novels by Lilian Jackson Braun.
My first read from series.
Koko and Yum-Yum FTW!
Very quick read, adorable-sounding cats, bumbling set of characters.
The Cat Who Sniffed Glue sounds promising.

Quickie #1

First novel of the Shiva trilogy.
Based on the concept that Gods started out as human beings who got to where they are because of their actions.
Interesting premise, nicely done publicity, big enough hit.
Engaging. Did not drag much.
Writing style, not as consistent as it coulda been.
Makes me wanna read the next one. Have you read it, non-commenting-lazy-bums?

Today i met a hamster

Today i met a hamster.
He was really nice.
I hope his owner is fine with me writing about him.
I really do.
He was all polite, didn't even complain when we woke him up repeatedly.
Then again, he sleeps a lot so i think its fine.
He got a teensy haircut because a tree was stuck to him.
This might not make sense, but it is true.
Cute lil feller, eats all daintily.
Beady eyes, can't see the whites.
He seems happy.
I think this rhymes just enough.

Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh!

Enough with the Breaking Bad obsession you say?
Wait till i finish the fourth season.
Then maybe i'll do some posts on Tetris.

Whatte music taste this Gale has i say.
From what is clearly the best cover of "Major Tom" by Peter Schilling, to gems such as

and

My vote for favourite Music Choice by Character in a nice TV Show. Gale Boetticher, everybody!
*APPLAUSE*

70's POP is back!

While MANASVINI posts abt the Breaking Bad baldies, here's a fashion tip. The 70's? TOTALLY in. No, NOT for halloween. For a normal walk in the park, a run through the woods, or just while you sit and eat a spider, Wide leg trousers are your best bet this year, especially in exceptionally bright colours. I recently came across a red one but it slipped away from me cause i couldnt fit into it (Yea i know... to all those ppl who thought "thats what he said"). Sure, this started in Jan and the year's almost over but everything reaches late here.
Anyhoo. Buy some trousers and enjoy your Halloween!

Woowee

So its gonna be pretty easy to change from one male Breaking Bad character to another this Halloween.
Considering they're mostly all bald.
For the Walter look go all wrinkly and wear them glasses.

Jesse means lose the wrinkles and wear your pants all low.

Mike means get wrinkly again and be all calm.

Gus means find those glasses again.
And slap on some darkish stuff to achieve a similar complexion.

Hank means find a fat suit.
And laugh at the end of every sentence.

Ze Warning

Hey Hanisha.
Put my name on this thing no somehow?
Like somewhere.
Else i threaten to start off one rival blog.

So, Halloween night.
Ideas?

Note to self,
Repeating the last words of a sentence twice and typing it the second time in caps makes one sound rather dramatic, yes RATHER DRAMATIC.

AWKWARD

Am i supposed to say hi? Like, i dunno. Anyway, i'm Hanisha and this was supposed to be a super awesome blog which i had dreams about with a certain Manasvini. We're pretty random on a daily basis and we figured if we converted all the random genius into a blog, other people could share our randomness. SADLY, a certain SOMEONE is never free. We got the name of Denim Chicken for our blog because we think it celebrates the ridiculously brilliant ideologies of Charlie from "Its Always Sunny in Philadelpha". We dream to be as awesome as you one day Charlieee, we love you.
Enough of this useless rant of a post. Ciao.
