Nostalgia Trip

I don't know what set it off, but i've been devouring episode after episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch lately. This totally takes me back to way back when it used to play on Star World from 4-4.30 pm, followed by Whose Line Is It Anyway. I think it became something of a tradition, coming back from school every afternoon to an entire hour of glorious television =)
Revisiting the same show now, i realise i still have a soft spot for it >_<
Salem's humour, Sabrina's aunts, it's slightly ancient but quite a fun show =D

Today i suddenly remembered Karadi Tales, the cassette of which i have played over and over till i knew a lot of it by rote. Too lazy to hunt for the cassette, i Googled it only to realise it's up on Youtube!
The animated video accompaniment (entirely alien to me) disturbs me slightly, so i prefer to only listen to it, but whattay fun!
It almost embarrasses me how much i still remember of Naseeruddin Shah's exaggerated narrative and the songs =P

Ain't No Sunshine

Happy times  =)
Meeting and greeting none other than the very yummy Enrique Iglesias (we'll blog about it the moment we get our hands on the photographs!), VIP spots at the concert, followed by a short vacation in Pondicherry! Why must the holidays come to an end? =(

The morning we arrived at our guest house, the forecast didn't look so good. It was drizzling and we heard that it had been raining on and off for around a week. However, we were in luck. The rest of the trip was perfect sunny beachy weather!
The Bill Withers song Ain't No Sunshine seemed to follow us wherever we went, though =D

Here is a brief account of our holiday. Wait up for more ( and better) photos from Hanisha!

Whatte week

OK so now lets get started with the stories.
The past weeks events have felt somewhat fictional to me but they have definitely happen.
I got my 15 mins of fame and now I plan to milk it all the way by popularizing our blog :D

So i decide on a random Tuesday to message into Radio Indigo 91.9 (https://www.facebook.com/Indigo919Bangalore) in the morning to

Guess who's back, back again!

Hey you mute people who don't comment on any of the posts, we decided its time to come back and revive this deserted page...and i hope you guys are as excited as us about it (which i doubt, lol)

Summer Jam

I've been listening to this song for too long :/

I hate to admit it, but twirling a Mosquito Bat around to kill the evil little monsters in Trichy was the most fun i've had in a long time :D

Superman

When i heard Gnarls Barkley on the radio, i thought they were pretty genius.

Then when i downloaded The High Road by Broken Bells and Two Againt One by Danger Mouse & Danielle Luppi
as free downloads on iTunes, they quickly became two of the most played on my iPod.

When i fell in love with Little Girl by Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse and realised that i did not know who either of them were, i did some Googling. And uncovered music's Superman.

Dark Side of the Plate

Dark Dine Invisible is a restaurant based on the concept of Dark Dining. Life in the city is one of continuous sensory overload. We rush through meals, seldom pausing to take everything in. At Dark, guests dine in absolute darkness, letting the other senses (touch, smell, hearing, taste) kick in. And by dark, i don't mean dim lighting. The place is absolutely completely (see photos below) devoid of light, besides one teensy bright dot we're not sure if we were imagining :P

H and I decided to give this a shot, and tried an early dinner.
Here is my review :)
